Neighborhood Revitalization

Moderate Income Housing (MIH)

In 2017, the City of Scott City secured a Moderate-Income Housing (MIH) grant for the purpose of building-out infrastructure (engineering, streets, curb, gutters, staking) to provide readily available property for families seeking to build or buy a newly constructed home that is FREE of any special assessment taxation! This “gift” equates to roughly $11,000 - $15,000 in savings for each home.

East Cambridge, LLC is the developer of the MIH district. The builder/contractor is Premier Homes of Garden City. Stephanie Shapland of Shapland Real Estate is showing homes as they are ready for sale. At any given time, there are two or more homes from which to choose, in various stages of construction. If you have secured bank financing in advance, even better!
