Water/Sewer bills may be paid to City Hall in the following ways:

Automatic Bank Draft (Free Service)

A form is available at City Hall for customers to pay their monthly water/sewer bill by automatic bank draft from a checking account.  Customers will will still receive a monthly bill listing the date and the dollar amount that will be debited from their checking account.  The payment will be pulled from customers' accounts on the 10th of each month (or the following business day if the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday).

Phone Payment (Convenience Fees Apply)

Phone Payments may be made by calling (620) 604-3808.  Phone Payments cannot be accepted by calling City Hall directly.

Personal Check or Money Order

Payments can be mailed to City Hall, 221 W 5th Street, Scott City, KS  67871, hand-delivered to City Hall, or left in the Dropbox outside City Hall. 

Customers may also use the “One Stop Shop” inside the north door at City Hall for payments (personal checks or money orders only) for City of Scott City, Wheatland Electric, and Scott County.  Please keep in mind that if a deadline is quickly approaching, it may be best to deliver payment directly to the entity for which you are paying to avoid late fees and/or service disconnects. 

Emergency Water Shut-Off

All requests to shut off water should be directed to City Hall. Stop by 221 W. 5th Street or call 872-5322 ext. 1. For water emergencies outside of working hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or on weekends or holidays, please call the Police Department at 872-2133 and a dispatcher will contact the on-call City employee to shut off your water.  Emergency water shut-offs are a service provided to our customers at no charge.
